Course Format: The course format includes, four (4) hours of classroom instruction with the visual aid of a power point presentation and a video.
Course Objectives: The primary purpose of Power line Hazards training is to prevent injuries and accidents from occurring while working near power lines.
Occupational Health and Safety Regulations of Newfoundland and Labrador states: "A person shall not operate a mobile crane, boom truck or similar equipment without having first completed a safety training program on power line hazards as prescribed by the commission."
